Keep 19 is a voluntary association of progressive activists from in and around New York’s 19th Congressional District.  In February 2005, several of us organized take19 because we identified the need for new representation in Congress. We helped bring about that positive change in the November 2006 election.

Going forward, we have created keep19. We believe that the more active we remain, the more effective and successful our Congressional representative will be in effecting the needed change for our country.

The group’s mission is to keep what we achieved in the 2006 Congressional election. We will support our Congressman’s fearless commitment to progressive values, high ethical standards and a transparent governing style – to keep faith with the voters who elected him.
